The following Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Mill Farm website and Churchill’s hire. We’re passionate about our customers and making sure that you’re happy, so the following set out the terms and conditions applying to your use of the site, including; leaving reviews, comments and uploading content to the site.
Use of Your Information
We will use the information you provide us to keep you informed about our products and activity. We may inform you about new products, similar products and provide information to help you make an informed choice on our products and services.
We will not sell your information onto third parties, although we may from time to time contact you about the products from our other companies. For example Bradleys Sports Bar.

Mill Farm reserves the right to add, remove or change our special offers and discounts at any time without warning. Although we make every attempt to keep our offers up to date, relevant to you and current, we reserve the right to refuse offers/discounts presented to us. From time to time we may advertise special offers or competitions on social media. Unless otherwise stated in the competition, the following terms apply:
- Competitions and offers are open to those aged 18 and over only
- The maximum prize value of any competition is £30
- Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash, or other items on the menu unless otherwise stated
- Management reserve the right to alter competition terms at any time
By signing up to our mailing list, you are agreeing to allow us to contact you about special offers, events and anything we deem you might be interested in. We will not pass on your details, other than to the other companies in the Tangerine Group such as Milano’s Restaurant. Competitions and registering with Mill Farm is only open to those aged 18 and over. You may unsubscribe at any time by following the links at the bottom of our emails.
Churchill’s Terms and Conditions
The following is a comprehensive guideline to assist you with your forthcoming plans and arrangements.
1. Provisional Bookings
You can reserve your ‘preferred date’ for up to 14 days. You are under no obligation and this gives you the time to discuss and agree your plans.
2. Confirmed Bookings
Written confirmation is required for all firm bookings as is a non-refundable deposit of £500.00.
3. Final Numbers
You will need to advise your final numbers two weeks prior to the event.
An interim payment of 50% of the estimated balance will need to be paid four months prior to the vent (six months for weddings), then 25% eight weeks before and the final balance four weeks prior to the event. Any charges incurred on the day of the event, or after you have been invoiced, are due for payment at the end of the event, unless you have arranged credit facilities with Mill Farm Management.
In the event of cancellation, the following charges will apply. The percentages will be calculated on the estimated booking value based on your last confirmed numbers.
– six months notice or less – 50%
– twelve weeks notice or less – 75%
– four weeks notice or less – 100%
Cancellation must be in writing to the Conference and Events Manager. A receipt of this will be issued to confirm the cancellation.
6. Cancellation By Mill Farm Sports Village
We reserve the right to cancel your booking if:
– you become insolvent or in the case of an individual, become subject to bankruptcy petition
– the booking might damage the reputation of Mill Farm.
In these circumstances, any advance payments will be refunded, but Mill Farm will not have any other liability.
In common with all Conference facilities, we do not insure any items you bring onto the premises (such as wedding presents, audio visual equipment etc). We therefore suggest that if you plan to leave any items unattended during your stay, you need to check that you have arranged adequate cover against their damage or loss.
8. Use Of Mill Farm
You will need our consent if:
– you wish to use amplification, lighting or similar electrical equipment in the complex
– you wish to attach items to the walls, floor or ceilings
– you wish to use outside suppliers to supply any equipment, or other services
9. Minimum Room Hire Spend
Churchill’s has a minimum room hire charge as follows:
– Monday to Thursday inclusive – £1,500
– Friday to Sunday inclusive – £2,000
Hours of rental (i.e. period you can occupy the room from)
DAY TIME – 8am – 5.30pm
NIGHT TIME – 7.30pm – 12pm (Monday – Thursday and Sunday), 7.30pm – 1am (Friday and Saturday)
The minimum room hire spend is calculated on the number of guests and the menu choices. Following are two examples:-
A) 85 guests book a silver service sit down meal at £20 a head for a Thursday evening. Total value of food spend is £1,700 and therefore there would be no room charge as this is £200 over the minimum spend.
B) 100 guests choose to have the cold buffet at £15 a head for a birthday party on a Saturday night. The value of the food spend is therefore £1,500 which is £500 less than the minimum room hire spend so they would have to pay the difference of £500.
a) We reserve the right to alter prices without notification. Prices are as stated and are not negotiable
b) Should any guests behave in an unacceptable manner or indulge in any activities deemed as such to the Mill Farm Management, we reserve the right to terminate your event. Should this occur no monies will be refunded to you.
c) The client must reimburse the costs of repairing any damage to the property, contents or grounds by you or any of your guests.
d) No wines, spirits or food brought into the complex may be consumed.
e) Mill Farm must comply with certain licensing and statutory regulations and requires the Client to fulfil their obligations in this respect.
f ) Prices include VAT unless otherwise specified. This shall be at the rate prevailing when confirmation of the booking was received and is subject to alteration should the rate change.
g) Any equipment that the complex needs to hire in for an event includes delivery, insurance and collection fees.
